Thanksgiving and All Saints Day 2009 PDF Print E-mail

 Marisol Franco made a verrrry strong pinata for the children.

We feasted on pizza and salad made by the families with chocolate ice cream for desssert.

Earlier in the day Miss Sheila helped the children make placecards with saints on them.
Each child took a turn telling us about the saint on their name card.

Afterwards, we prayed a decade of the rosary led by the children.

Next it was time to take turns swinging at the pinata, starting with the youngest.

Hannah at bat.  The older children started out using a blindfold but we had to reconsider
our methods when the pinata turned out to be so strong.

Beth has another go at it.  By this time the rafter sawed through the rope
and we had to lift it by a pole between two ladders.
