![]() Marisol Franco made a verrrry strong pinata for the children. ![]() We feasted on pizza and salad made by the families with chocolate ice cream for desssert. ![]() Earlier in the day Miss Sheila helped the children make placecards with saints on them. Each child took a turn telling us about the saint on their name card. ![]() Afterwards, we prayed a decade of the rosary led by the children. ![]() Next it was time to take turns swinging at the pinata, starting with the youngest. ![]() Maddie up to bat. ![]() Hannah at bat. The older children started out using a blindfold but we had to reconsider our methods when the pinata turned out to be so strong. ![]() Carrie manages to knock off one portion of the pinata. ![]() Rachel takes another turn at bat. ![]() Beth has another go at it. By this time the rafter sawed through the rope and we had to lift it by a pole between two ladders. ![]() Therese gives sit another try. ![]() Big sister to the rescue. Abigail finally bursts the pinata.
